Dr. Leah LeFebvre畢業於德克薩斯大學奧斯汀分校🧑🏽🏃♀️，現為懷俄明大學傳播與新聞系Assistant Professor🪝，教授人際關系溝通🛒、傳播技術🦹🏻♀️、傳播理論等課程。其研究專長包括親密關系與新興技術的關系和傳播🌁🧜🏿♀️、技術與健康行為的互動🐋。Dr. LeFebvre的研究興趣在於考察可記錄的在線人際關系溝通技術（如Facebook, Tinder, voicemail等）如何影響過去🫃👨🏻🔧、當下🖨、和未來的親密關系和溝通過程🚶🏻♂️。她的研究成果發表於Journal of Social and Personal Relationships, Communication Monographs, Social Media+Society, Journal of Applied Communication Research, Health Communication, Communication Education, Journal of Language and Social Psychology, and Cyberpsychology, Behavior, and Social Networking等期刊💅🏿。
講座摘要✍️：
This lecture of Dr. Leah LeFebvre (PhD, University of Texas at Austin) is intended to give an overview of the dark side perspective on relationships and communication. Specifically, Dr.LeFebvre delineates what entails the dark side. Readings offer introductions to the dark side in articles, short summary chapters, and volumes from the first book to the most recent publications. These readings illustrate the dark side evolution as a celebrated and essential aspect of interpersonal communication. Dr.LeFebvre concludes by sharing her dark side exploratory study about post-dissolution behaviors that examine how people use social networking sites to adjust to breakups.
