摘要: The objective of this talk is to assess and compare the demographic and socioeconomic changes of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, the global emerging economies. The analysis is conducted under the framework of demographic transition and the urbanization process.
主講人簡介：Prof. Roberto Luis do Carmo is a well-known Brazilian demographer and sociologist. He is now the Deputy Dean of Institute of Philosophy and Human Science (IFCH/UNICAMP), professor at the Demography Department and research fellow of Population Study Center (NEPO), Federal University of Campinas (UNICAMP). His research areas include population-environment relations; migration; urbanization; water use and management; population-environment-health nexus (dengue fever, zika); disasters; education access and the teaching practices across different levels of schooling.
